This or That at Arizona Grill Lounge: Menu Face-Offs Near Pearson

Some nights the hardest decision is not where to eat. It is what to order once you sit down. With around 70 menu items, our table talk at Arizona Grill Lounge often turns into a friendly debate, so we decided to settle a few of them here. Think of this as our this or that menu near Pearson: real dishes from our menu, lined up head to head, with our honest take on who each one is for.

We are at 215 Carlingview Dr, Etobicoke, ON M9W 5E7, about five minutes from Toronto Pearson Airport, and we are open 11:00 am to 2:00 am every day with the kitchen serving until close. So whether it is a lunch break, a crew dinner or a late plate after a flight, there is time to play.

Round 1: Honey Garlic or Suicide wings?

Our jumbo wings come in 15 flavours, and this is the split that starts the most arguments. Honey Garlic is sticky, sweet and easy to share with a table that does not want a challenge. Suicide is for the friend who says “it is not that hot” and then reaches for a drink.

Can’t decide? Meet in the middle with Hot & Honey, or go smoky with Maple BBQ, BBQ Guiness or Mexican Baja Chipotle. The full list also includes Mild, Medium, Hot, Honey BBQ, Cajun, Jerk, Sweet Chili, Honey Mustard and Lemon Salt Pepper. Our pick for a group: order two flavours and let the table vote.

Round 2: Arizona Organic Burger or Crispy Chicken Burger?

The Arizona Organic Burger is organic beef made in house with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle. It is the classic for a reason. The Crispy Chicken Burger uses antibiotic free, hormone free chicken with lettuce, tomato and onion, and it is an easy pick for anyone skipping beef.

Tiebreaker: the Canadian Burger adds bacon and blended cheddar to that same house made organic beef. If you are torn, that is usually where the beef side wins.

Round 3: Nachos Supreme or Steak Nachos?

Nachos Supreme come loaded with beef chili, peppers, olives and jalapenos. Steak Nachos take it up a level with steak on top of organic beef chili, peppers, olives and jalapenos. Chicken Nachos sit right in between.

Wildcard: if the table cannot agree on one plate, the Sampler Platter brings chicken quesadilla, calamari, onion rings, tortilla chips and samosas, so everyone gets a little of everything.

Round 4: Chicken or Shrimp Fajitas?

Fajitas are made for sharing. Chicken Fajitas are the safe, crowd pleasing pick. Shrimp Fajitas are the move when you want something a bit lighter that still feels like a treat. Beef Fajitas are there for the steak lovers. Our take: chicken for a mixed group, shrimp if it is a date night.

Round 5: Arizona Classic or Meat Lovers pizza?

The Arizona Classic stacks sausage, jalapenos, olives, mushrooms and tomatoes. Meat Lovers keeps it simple with bacon, sausage and pepperoni. Both come in small or large.

Not a meat crowd? The Vegetarian pizza brings mushrooms, tomatoes, onion and peppers, and the BBQ Chicken pizza with BBQ sauce, chicken and red onion is a strong third option for the middle of the table.

Round 6: Seafood Fettuccine or Chicken Asiago?

Seafood Fettuccine brings shrimp, scallops and calamari in a white wine pesto rose sauce. Chicken Asiago is penne with mushroom in a garlic cream sauce, pure comfort. If you want a little kick, the Ponderosa Penne with sausage, blackened chicken, onions, mushrooms and tomato basil sauce is the dark horse. Every pasta comes with a side of garlic bread, so nobody loses this round.

Round 7: AAA New York or AAA RibEye?

Our “AAA” Angus Reserve New York is seasoned with Arizona’s spices and comes in 8oz, 12oz, 16oz or 20oz, so you can match it to your appetite. The “AAA” RibEye is a 12oz cut for anyone who likes a richer steak. Both come with your choice of mashed potatoes or rice. New York if you want to pick your size, RibEye if you want marbling.

Round 8: Cauliflower Bites or Chicken Bites?

Two shareable starters, two very different fans. Chicken Bites are boneless and battered with a ranch dip. Cauliflower Bites are battered and tossed in hot or sweet chili, and they are a great pick for vegetarian guests at the table. Order both and watch which plate empties first.

Bonus round: heated patio or inside with the game on?

The food is settled. Now pick your seat. Our heated patio is for fresh air and longer conversations. Inside, we have 40+ TVs up to 100 inches, and we take game requests, so it is the spot for watching the game in Etobicoke. Read more about our sports bar in Etobicoke.

On a Tuesday or Wednesday after 4:00 pm? Start any round with fresh shucked oysters at $1.80 each. Our oyster night post has the details. For drinks, browse the cocktail menu and liquor menu.
