Oysters are not just for downtown raw bars and special occasions. Every Tuesday and Wednesday after 4 pm, Arizona Grill Lounge in Etobicoke runs oyster nights with fresh shucked oysters at a special price. It is an easy midweek treat, whether you are coming from work, meeting friends or passing through near Toronto Pearson Airport.
Here is what to know before you come, plus what to pair with your oysters and what else to try from the seafood side of the menu.
Tuesday and Wednesday oyster nights, after 4 pm
Oyster nights run every Tuesday and Wednesday from 4 pm. Come in and grab a seat at the bar or a table.
The oyster night price
On oyster nights, fresh shucked oysters are just $1.80 each, well below the regular menu price of $2.80.

First time trying oysters?
If you have never had a raw oyster, oyster night is a low-pressure way to start. A few tips:
- Keep it simple. Try the first one plain, so you can taste the oyster itself.
- Loosen it first. Make sure the oyster is free from the shell, then tip it from the wide end.
- Chew once or twice. Most people find the flavour opens up with a quick chew rather than swallowing it whole.
- Pair it right. Something crisp and cold, like a light beer or a glass of white, keeps each bite fresh.
Ask your server if you have questions. They are happy to walk first timers through it.
What to drink with oysters
Oysters love something crisp, cold and a little bright. From our bar:
- Wine. House white by the 6 oz glass, half litre or litre. See the liquor menu.
- Beer. A lighter draught works well. Try Hoegaarden, Stella or Heineken from the imports, Mill St Organic or Creemore from the craft taps, or a Corona or Peroni by the bottle.
- Sangria. Our white sangria is made with house white, melon liqueur, peach schnapps, tonic, ginger ale and Sprite. It comes by the glass or the pitcher, which is perfect for sharing a tray of oysters.
- Cocktails. A classic like a martini or a frozen margarita also pairs nicely. See the cocktail menu.

A midweek plan near Pearson
Oyster nights fall on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, when most places are quiet. That makes it a good excuse to get out midweek, and a good option if you are staying at one of the airport hotels on Carlingview Dr or Dixon Rd.
We are at 215 Carlingview Dr, Etobicoke, ON M9W 5E7, about five minutes from Toronto Pearson Airport and close to Highways 401, 427 and 409. There is lots of free parking on site. We are open 11 am to 2 am every day.
